This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers.
Summary
macunodigital.com does not set cookies and does not use any similar technology, such as local storage, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or analytics. It doesn't load fonts, scripts or other content from third parties. Our free check and complaint forms are handled by a script on our own hosting, which doesn't set cookies. To filter out spam, each form carries a hidden, signed time stamp in the page itself, which isn't stored on your device. That's why you don't see a cookie banner.
Why there's no cookie banner
The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR reg 6) cover storing information on, or accessing information from, your device. Consent is needed unless an exception applies. Because this site doesn't store or access anything on your device, there is nothing to ask consent for, so we don't show a banner.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider records basic technical information about each request (such as IP address, time and page requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure. These logs are not cookies and are not stored on your device. Our privacy notice explains how they are handled.
Other websites
When you pay by a Stripe payment link we send you, you go to a payment page hosted by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Stripe Payments UK, Ltd. and Stripe Technology Company, Limited, as described in our privacy notice), which may use its own cookies under its own policy (Stripe privacy policy). Links to other sites, such as legislation.gov.uk or ico.org.uk, take you to sites with their own cookie policies.
If this changes
If we ever add cookies or analytics, we'll update this policy before we do. Where consent is needed, we'll ask for it first, and nothing non-essential will load until you've chosen.
